Arsenal chief Raul Sanllehi admits he had little to do with Unai Emery before his summer appointment.
Despite his Barcelona background, Sanllehi says he didn't know former Sevilla coach Emery.
Sanllehi, who is the Gunners' head of football, said: “It's contagious. In a good way. I have to make the point also, just to clarify, that I did not know him personally. We are both Spanish but I did not know him personally.
“But the feedback I got from people who had worked with Unai was incredible. Always positive. I did not find one element of criticism. I am talking about players, chairmen, technical directors. I talked with a lot of people who had interacted with him in his time and it was very reassuring."
