Sanfrecce Hiroshima have qualified for the final of the Japan or Nabisco Cup by holding Shimizu S-Pulse to a 1-1 semi-final second leg draw.
Sanfrecce won the first leg 2-1 at home and were then able to hold Shimizu in Shizuoka to win 3-2 on aggregate.
They will now meet Jubilo Iwata in the decider after they turned a one-goal deficit from the first leg against Kawasaki Frontale into a 3-2 aggregate win after a stirring 3-1 away victory.
The final will take place on Wednesday, November 3 at Tokyo's National Stadium with Sanfrecce looking for their first victory in the competition whilst Jubilo will be hoping to emulate their 1998 triumph.
