Sandro Ramirez refused an offer to return to Barcelona to join Everton this summer.

Everton swooped to sign Sandro from Malaga, but not before Barca made an attempt to re-sign the striker.

Don Balon says Barca were in contact with Sandro about a deal, but were taking their time as they considered several attacking options.

In the end, Sandro became fed up with waiting for the Blaugrana and instead accepted a move to Goodison Park.

The striker revealed: "My father told me that if the opportunity to play in Premier League arrived, it was necessary to seize it. It is different from the LaLiga in the type of game, more physical and intense but I think I've adapted well."
