San Jose Earthquakes announced today that goalkeeper Joe Cannon underwent successful surgery to repair a fracture in his left ankle.
Cannon had his surgery performed by Dr. Michael Oberlander at Sequoia Surgical Pavilion in Walnut Creek earlier today.
He has appeared in 12 matches in 2010 and posted six shutouts, including his last appearance, this past Saturday in a 1-0 win over Kansas City.
