Jlloyd Samuel has urged his Bolton teammates to forget their England disappointment this week.

The likes of Kevin Davies, Gary Cahill and Matty Taylor were once again over-looked by Fabio Capello when he named his squad for Wednesday's friendly with Spain.

Samuel was picked by former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson for a squad to face Sweden in 2004 but, much to his disappointment, never again received the call.

"I was lucky enough to be involved but didn't get on the pitch," he recalled to the Bolton Evening News. "But the important thing is that you don't let it get in your way."
