Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero accepts sporting director Walter Sabatini would be tempted to return to AS Roma.

Sabatini worked at Roma between 2011 and 2017 before moving to Samp last summer, but the sporting director has been linked with a return to the Lupi.

“I don't know, but I do know that Sabatini left his heart in Rome," Ferrero told Romanews.eu.

“He's a great professional but if [Roma] call him, he probably wouldn't say 'no' to them."
