Sampdoria are interested in signing Leicester City's Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric.

The 24-year-old has struggled to make an impression on new manager Claudio Ranieri and with Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez in superb form, Kramaric has been restricted to just two substitute appearances in the league for Leicester this season.

Speaking about Sampdoria's January transfer plans, president, Massimo Ferrero said: "I will not sell anyone, everybody will stay and I'll give another two or three gifts to (coach) Vincenzo Montella, as he deserves it.

"We have been following Kramaric for a year now. We could be interested in some Inter defenders."
