Sampdoria coach Marco Giampaolo left angry after defeat to AC Milan.

Giampaolo felt they blew the points after losing 3-2.

“If you want to make the definitive step up to the next level, you cannot lose these games," Giampaolo told Sky Sport Italia.

“When we played the ball to feet, we really caused problems for Milan. After their draw, we started to play individually and not collectively.

“It was a mistake, we shouldn't have defended individually with all those open spaces. We've got to learn that if we want to bring home a result, we must do it by playing better, not worse. Our results are directly proportional to the quality of our football."
