Antonio Cassano is weighing up his retirement.

The former Bari, Roma, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Inter star confirmed this week he has asked to terminate his deal with Sampdoria.

Cassano, 34, has not played all season and Samp even removed his picture from the club website after he refused a transfer.

“He told me that, without valid offers, he will just end it here, without even playing a farewell match," said Sampdoria coach Marco Giampaolo.
