Sampdoria coach D'Aversa on victory over Genoa: We share this with Ferrero

Sampdoria coach Roberto D'Aversa sent his best to former president Massimo Ferrero after victory over Genoa.

Samp won 3-1 on Friday at the end of a week which saw Ferrero arrested and resign as club president.

"It's certainly a very important win, both for the table and for the importance of the match," D'Aversa told DAZN. “And for how it arrived.

“It's difficult for the history of the derby to see a team playing well, for 60 minutes the team did well.

“We must share this win with president Ferrero and with all of Sampdoria, from managers to warehouse workers, from press officer to the fans who escorted us to the stadium."
