Christopher Samba is prepared to go down with QPR.

Samba has seen rock-bottom Rangers pick up only one point since he joined from Anzhi Makhachkala for £12million last month.

Asked if he will quit the Hoops if they drop back into the Championship, he said: "I'll stay. I will stay if it is a serious project.

"Sometimes if there is a setback there is a bigger step forward to make.

"If they are willing for me to make it with them I would.

"But there are still 11 games so there is no question of thinking about that just yet."
