Newcastle United striker Salomon Rondon has been named their Player of the Year.
Rondon, on-loan from West Brom, became the first striker to win the award since record-breaking goalscorer Alan Shearer in 2003.
He has scored 11 goals this term – his best-ever tally in English football but is due to return to parent club West Brom following Newcastle's trip to Fulham on Sunday.
In the Premier League alone, Rondón has been involved in 47 per cent of United's goals, having contributed eight assists in addition to his ten top-flight strikes.
He takes over the gong from skipper Jamaal Lascelles.
