Arsenal youngster Willam Saliba will not take part in the remaining Premier League games of this season.

Given Ligue 1 is cancelled and the Premier League will likely resume in June to finish the season, fans had thought Saliba could register with the Gunners.

But football.london reports that per his contract, Saliba is a Saint Etienne player until June 30.

Tthere is still uncertainty over FIFA registration rules for players related to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The registration deadline for next season may be pushed back so players who are transferring clubs only play for their new teams in the 2020-2021 campaign onward.
