Arsenal youngster William Saliba is set to receive a first team opportunity at the club next season.

The centre-half has not made a competitive appearance for the Gunners, despite signing in a big money move in the summer of 2019.

Saliba is presently on loan at Marseille, following loan stints at Saint-Etienne and Nice in France.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are pleased with the progress that Saliba is making in his game.

The 20-year-old has played nine games for OM this term, and the Gunners are likely to welcome him back with open arms at the end of the season.
