Emiliano Sala has told Nantes he wants to join Cardiff City.

The striker flew into the UK on Monday for talks with Bluebirds manager Neil Warnock and chief executive Ken Choo.

Sala walked away from the meeting impressed and has told his club that he wants to move to the Welsh club this month.

Cardiff will break their transfer record in order too sign the 28-year-old.

The Argentinian has scored 12 goals this season, good for third highest in Ligue 1.
