Sako shot as more venom than most of the Premier League - Crystal Palace boss Pardew

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has hailed Bakary Sako's shooting abilities.

With the injuries piling up, Palace have been handed a boost with the news that winger Sako will be fit in time to feature in their third round FA Cup clash against Southampton this weekend.

Pardew has confirmed Sako's participation for the clash and has gone on to praise the former Wolverhampton Wanderers' star's shooting capabilities.

Pardew said: "Sako is definitely available for this one - it is really good news on that front. He gives me a weapon that I haven't had for five or six games.

"He has a shot in both feet that has got a little more venom than perhaps 95 per cent of the Premier League.

"He is important because he can get a goal out of nothing and it is something at the top of my agenda at the moment - scoring goals."
