Sacked Tottenham boss Pochettino home in Argentina

Sacked Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has returned home to Argentina.

The Sun says he was visiting Argentine side Newell's Old Boys where he came through the youth set-up and played for between 1989 and 1994.

On his arrival he was greeted by current members of staff of the club and was presented with a framed shirt.

While Poch was enjoying a trip back home, talk is ongoing in England about the potential of him taking the big jobs on the other side of North London or in Manchester.

Arsenal recently sacked Unai Emery and the South American is one of many names who appears to be in the frame for the vacancy.

Meanwhile, pressure continues to mount on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Man United after his side picked up just two points from games against promoted sides Sheffield United and Aston Villa.
