Maurizio Sarri is being tipped for a future move to Fiorentina.
Close friend and confidant Aurelio Virgili says Sarri is ready to return to football at the turn of the year after his summer dismissal by Juventus.
He told Tuttosport: "I think and hope before Christmas.
"With Juventus, despite what they say, he hasn't quarreled. And this is demonstrated by the fact that he is talking to the club to terminate the contract. They are looking for an agreement that satisfies everyone and allows Maurizio to feel free to coach and Juventus to save.
"Like all Fiorentina fans, despite having the utmost respect for Beppe Iachini, I have a dream: Maurizio in Florence. Seeing him win with Fiorentina would be the maximum. In Napoli? Why not? Maurizio is a professional and the separation with (president Aurelio) De Laurentiis did not cancel the mutual respect."
