Sacked Everton boss Ronald Koeman is expected to walk straight into the Holland job.

Dick Advocaat will walk away from the post next month when he comes off contract with the KNVB.

NOS reporter Arno Vermeulen stated: "You would say he is now a serious candidate for the KNVB.

"The new director (Eric Gudde) is not really working yet. We have to wait for that. There must be another technical director.

"The KNVB and Koeman ... They have to get along together. He seems a dream candidate for the KNVB. He is 54. He can also take (his brother) Erwin as an assistant. They have some more choices, but he seems to me number one. But it may take a while."
