Sacked Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is being discussed inside Manchester United.
Gazzetta dello Sport says United bosses are 'truly thinking' about Conte as a successor to Jose Mourinho.
Conte has been out of a job since leaving Chelsea at the end of last season, and Mourinho has been under pressure this season for inconsistent performances from United.
The report says any deal for Conte would likely take place at the end of the season.
The Italian has confirmed this week he doesn't intend to return to management until next summer.
