Sacked Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac sees Everton thump Chelsea

Sacked Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac was at Goodison Park on Saturday to see Everton thump Chelsea.

Everton won 3-1 under caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson - their first game since he dismissal of Marco Silva.

Kovac has been out of work since his departure from Bayern last month. He was in the directors' box along with his entourage but was simply in attendance to watch the game, says the Daily Mail.

Kovac has stated that he is having time out of the game and is taking the opportunity to watch some games this weekend.

He watched on as Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a brace for Everton, with Richarlison also scoring, while Mateo Kovacic found the net for Chelsea.

Ferguson was placed in temporary charge for the game against Chelsea, but Everton are looking to make a permanent appointment quickly.
