Sacked Aston Vila boss Tim Sherwood is being linked with Swindon Town.

The Daily Star says the former Tottenham and Blackburn star could walk into another job as a manager at Swindon.

His close friend, the League One's chairman and temporary manager Lee Power, is ready to appoint him as the Robins' boss.

As technical director at Tottenham, Sherwood, 46, was responsible for sorting out Swindon loan deals for numerous young players at White Hart Lane.
