Alaves have sacked Italian coach Gianni de Biasi.

De Biasi only took over Alaves in mid-September, but despite three wins in his eight games at the helm, the Italian leaves the side back where they started under him – bottom of the Spanish top flight.

The 61-year-old spent six years in charge of Albania before his spell at Mendizorroza.

He guided Albania to Euro 2016, their first-ever major tournament.
