Former Italy coach Arrigo Sacchi believes Andrea Pirlo can make a successful return to football.

Pirlo had one season with Juventus before being sacked last summer.

“I think he can re-enter the world of football," Sacchi said as a guest of Tiki Taka. “You also need a little luck, he went to a Juve where it was almost impossible to do well.

“Pirlo accepted out of ambition and made a mistake that could cost him dearly."

Pilro has been linked with Barcelona and Genoa in recent weeks before both jobs were taken.
