Former AC Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi has hailed the impact of Stefano Pioli with the Rossonero.
Pioli has led Milan back to the Champions League after an absence of seven years.
Sacchi told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I've known him for a long time but I must admit that he amazes me because he is improving more and more. And Milan's surprising results prove him right.
"Paolo Maldini's presence I think has been decisive in this process. He helped him to have more courage. It is a question of making a new leap in quality, always keeping the goal clear: to play. When there is that, it is the boys who feel the most confident and optimistic."
