Manchester United midfielder Marcel Sabitzer says he expects to return to Bayern Munich when his loan ends in June.
It's been suggested Sabitzer will seek to leave Bayern after it was confirmed Konrad Laimer will be arriving in the summer from RB Leipzig.
But he told BILD: "I'll be a Bayern player again from July 1, 2023, that's what the contract says.
"There will certainly also be a conversation with Thomas Tuchel. I'm not stuck in any direction. On the subject of Konrad Laimer: I've been hearing that for a year and a half or two.
"What do I have to do with it if this transfer then happens? I've always had competition in Munich: Jo Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Gravenberch, Tolisso. I never hid from that, it won't affect me in any way.
"You have competition at every top club: At United it's even more extreme than in Munich, there's Scott McTominay, Eriksen, Casemiro, Fred and me for the midfield. If I was afraid of competition, I shouldn't have gone to Bayern or United."
