Sabatini: Dzeko and Barella rescued Inter Milan thanks to locker room culture

Italian transfer guru Walter Sabatini believes the secret of Inter Milan's revival is thanks to the players now getting along.

Sabatini believes there was past tension within the group.

He said, “As soon as they found the taste of playing together they also found the results.

"The impression I had was that they had completely disconnected as a team which is the first step towards the abyss. When this happens you have no chance of raising your head.

"Some thinking Inter players knew it, I think of (Edin) Dzeko who is a locker room boy. The two-to-three more mature ones will have come together to try to get some messages through, (Nicolo) Barella is also very predisposed to the command.

"Inter have already lost all the points they had to lose and can no longer afford other slips."
