Former Roma sports director Walter Sabatini says Luis Enrique would be the ideal replacement for Luciano Spalletti at Napoli.

Spalletti has announced he will leave the Serie A champions at the end of the season.

Sabatini worked with both coaches at Roma and told Alfredo Pedulla: "Their football is very similar. Perhaps Luciano prefers a bit more vertical build-up play, while Luis Enrique relies on dribbling

“He would be perfect, he is a great man who knows how to have a strong impact in the locker room. However, I believe that no one at the moment can repeat what Luciano Spalletti has done.

“If Luis Enrique arrived, it would be a logical continuation of the work carried out by the Tuscan coach."
