Ryan Noble thrilled with Sunderland strike: My best moment

Ryan Noble was delighted to be on the scoresheet in Sunderland's Peace Cup win over FC Groningen in South Korea.

Noble has been prolific in front of goal for the under-18s and reserve team during his time at the club and is thrilled to be off the mark at senior level.

"This is the best moment of my career by a mile. I just wanted to go out there and do what I do best, which is scoring goals.

"I had a little hand in the equaliser too and fortunately we got the winner just in time," he told safc.com.

"Before I went on the manager told me to go and change the game and score the winner - fortunately I managed to do that. Tonight was all about fitness but we wanted to get a good result and that's what we've got.

"Korea has been a completely different experience - the weather, the people, everything. It's been fantastic and another learning curve for me. I'm young and still have a lot to learn.

"A lot of the young lads on the tour have come through the age groups together and to have them around makes you feel comfortable.

"It helps bed you in and build your confidence and hopefully that's shown."
