Ryan Bertrand is ready to sign a new contract with Southampton.

The fullback, reports Goal, has agreed terms and is preparing to put pen to paper.

Bertrand's new deal will run to 2023.

The 31 year-old moved to Saints in 2014 from Chelsea as a Champions League winner.

He has played in six matches so far this season.
