Fulham signing Ryan Babel is delighted to be back in the Premier League after his move from Besiktas.
Babel admits he hopes to play his way into Ronald Koeman's Holland squad.
He told De Telegraaf: "With the choice for Fulham over the next six months, I will ensure that we remain in the picture with Oranje. My agent Winnie Haatrecht also had other offers for a lot of money in famous distant countries, but together with him and my father I had already decided to keep playing at the top level.
"I got a lot of confidence from national coach Ronald Koeman and I hope to pay him back by helping to win the Nations League.
"I think it's good to be part of the Premier League again. The big challenge for me here in London is to keep Fulham at the highest level.
"Admittedly, I had to decide quickly because Besiktas and Fulham quickly reached an agreement, but I weighed everything against each other and consciously opted for this."
