Rui Patricio insists Wolves must move on from FA Cup

Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio wants the team to move on from their FA Cup heartache.

The newly promoted side were within a minute of a cup final, but lost in extra time to Watford instead.

And now Patricio wants the team to refocus on finishing seventh in the Premier League, as it may grant a Europa League spot.

"This game has happened and we can develop from it," he said to reporters.

"We can look at the mistakes we made to improve. So, as I said, we need to take this game and use it to grow.

"It was hard for the manager and the team as a whole because the objective was of course to reach the final. But we are professionals and must react in the face of adversity.

"So, as I said, we have to use this game to improve. That is what we shall do in all competitions.

"We want to return to be our best and get back to winning.

"We have to react in the upcoming game against Southampton. We have to bounce back."
