Arsenal must make a decision at the end of this season over the future of Rui Fonte.

The young Portuguese striker's loan from Sporting Lisbon expires in June and the Gunners must decide whether to make his stay permanent.

Currently playing with Crystal Palace on-loan, Rui Fonte told Maisfutebol: "I will do everything to continue in England and Arsenal.

"Having to go back to Portugal will not be a disappointment because it will be a signal that Sporting want me.

"In England I can develop more as a player with Arsenal or another club in the major divisions. I will do everything to do well at Crystal Palace and then hope that Arsenal want to keep me."
