Juventus veteran Mario Mandzukic has been offered a £6.4m-a-year deal by Qatar Stars League leaders Al Duhail SC in January.
The Croatian striker, 33, has fallen out of favour under Maurizio Sarri at Juve and has been linked with Manchester United.
Mandzukic has not played a minute of Serie A football this season and has also been left out of the club's Champions League squad, says the Daily Mail.
Rui Faria, former assistant to Jose Mourinho, is currently in charge at Al Duhail, in what is his first managerial job.
The Portuguese has enjoyed a fine start, winning the Emir of Qatar Cup three months after joining the club in January.
