Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has urged Matthijs de Ligt to join him in Turin next season.

The Ajax defender will face Rugani and Juve tonight in the first-leg of their Champions League quarterfinal first-leg.

De Ligt has been linked with Juve this summer and Rugani says he would be a welcome addition.

He said: "I know him, I faced him for the national team.

"Could we play together in the future? Yes, why not? It's always nice to play with strong players. Ajax has many strong guys, it's normal to have a market around them."
