Rubén Reyes has been named coach of Getafe to the end of the season.

The sporting director steps in after Thursday's sacking of Quique Sanchez Flores.

There had been expectations around Jose Bordalas returning, but Reyes has now been confirmed as caretaker to June.

"Rubén Reyes, sporting director of Getafe Club de Fútbol, will be in charge of the first team from this training session onwards," the Madrid club announced.

Reyes will have the fitness coach of Bordalás' team, Javier Vidal, who will join the staff to work with the Getafe players.
