Former Middlesbrough striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is being linked with the Riverside job.

The Daily Mail says Hasselbaink - who currently manages in Belgium with Royal Antwerp - had a two-year spell at Boro during his distinguished career.

He has held talks with Boro - as has former Manchester United assistant coach Mike Phelan.
