Rostov manager Ivan Daniliants believes that Manchester United might struggle playing on the less-than-pristine pitch of the Olimp-2 Stadium.
Rostov prepare to host United in the first leg of the Round of 16 in the Europa League on Thursday night and the Russian side are clearly heading into the game as underdogs.
However, Rostov are a side more than capable of giving the top teams a run for their money and Daniliants has explained that Jose Mourinho's side might struggle to play their natural free-flowing game on the pitch due to its poor condition.
He said: "The pitch is the same for everyone but it will still be a problem.
"In the final of the League Cup [at Wembley], Manchester United played on an ideal lawn – it was like a carpet.
"When they arrive here, they will be surprised."
