Former Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi is happy to see Vincenzo Montella back at the club.
Montella was named Viola coach this week after Stefano Pioli's resignation.
"He's a Coach who is prepared and able to take care of every little detail of the game," the former Italy striker told Corriere dello Sport.
“His experience as a top-level player allows him to understand the needs of individuals and maintain a good relationship with the group.
“The match against Juve was a special match, also for his speech in the dressing room at the end of the first half.
“He gave us the right wake-up call, then you all know how it ended [4-2 with a Rossi hat-trick].
“He's a great Coach and able to get the best out of his players, letting them all express their qualities.
“Having fun on the field, regardless of formations and systems, is important for us players. That's why I think Montella is a great Coach."
