Ross County manager Derek Adams was short of comment when quizzed on the future of midfielder Richard Brittain.
The 29-year old, who has signed a pre-contract with St Johnstone which he reportedly wants scrapped, was stretchered off during the 2-0 loss to Motherwell on the weekend after landing awkwardly.
After the game, Adams preferred not to comment on Brittain's current contract conditions saying all he knew was that he was having his injury monitored.
"I am not sure, he is away to hospital now. I am not sure the extent of his injury, we will see," the County boss said.
"I don't know what's wrong with him and we will obviously assess him when he gets back.
"He is away to hospital, don't ask me another question, he is away to hospital."
