Roque Mesa insists he believes he can make it at Swansea City.
The former Las Palmas star has battled to win over Swans boss Paul Clement so far this season, though insists their relationship is rock solid.
Mesa said: "I have already passed the worst because the language was complicated in the beginning, but I'm already using it. I'm ready to have minutes."
Mesa reveals he also has a personal trainer, "with which I prepare myself in the afternoon", but "I respect the decision of the coach on the eleven he chooses".
He continued: "I spoke with Clement and he told me he was counting on me, I respect him with professionalism because I respect the coach's decisions.
"One never is happy not playing and that's why I try to find solutions, I played all the time for Las Palmas, but before I had a time when they did not trust me, I have lived this situation more than once and I know that with work I will finish playing again."
