Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney believes Mauricio Pochettino is the man for the job in the summer.
The Red Devils are seeking to hire a permanent boss when the season concludes, with PSG coach Pochettino and Ajax manager Erik ten Hag considered the two favourites for the position.
And Rooney would prefer to see Pochettino given the job due to his Premier League experience with Tottenham and Southampton.
He told Sky Sports: "I think Pochettino's done it in the Premier League.
"He knows the Premier League. At Tottenham, he brought a lot of young players through, at Southampton as well.
"If I'm choosing from one of them two, that's who I'd choose.
"I'd go with Pochettino, and give him time. For managers now, they need time to come in and actually put their blueprint on the club and the team, and if you give him time, I think he'll do well."
