Rooney slams ex-Man Utd teammate Ronaldo: You've been unacceptable

DC United coach Wayne Rooney has slammed former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo for his behaviour this season.

Ronaldo infamously left the stadium before the final whistle as a non-playing substitute against Spurs.

Rooney said on talkSPORT: "United are not a better team with CR7.

"He and (Lionel) Messi are undoubtedly the best players of all time, but I think Cristiano's behavior since the beginning of the season is not acceptable to the Red Devils.

"I've heard Roy Keane defending him, but Roy himself would not accept someone like that in the dressing room at all.

"Ronaldo is a distraction for Manchester United today. Head down and work, so as to be ready when the coach needs you. Only in this way can CR7 be a resource."
