Wayne Rooney could be set to continue as manager at Derby County.
The Sun is reporting that if the club is taken over by No Limits Sports LTD, Rooney would stay on in charge.
Spanish financial wizkid Erik Alonso, 29, owns the management company WBD Sports that is set to buy out the current owner Mel Morris.
The deal is subject to EFL approval, but if it goes through Alonso has no plans on bringing in his own manager to replace Rooney.
It is suggested that stability is what the possible new owner wants to bring to the club, and he feels that Rooney's legendary status in the game makes him ideal to attract new signings and push the club forward.
Derby are in 18th spot in the Championship, eight points clear of safety with six league games to go.
