It is being reported that Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has been left out of the squad for tomorrow's Europa League quarter final first leg away at Anderlecht, and has not travelled to Belgium.

The England striker trained with his team-mates on Wednesday morning at the club's Carrington training ground, but has missed United's last two games due to pain in both ankles.
