DC United striker Wayne Rooney is convinced Manchester United can still win the Premier League under manager Jose Mourinho.

Rooney insists Mourinho is more than capable of winning the league with the players at his disposal.

"They have the quality, they just have to keep pushing," he told CNN.

"Mourinho knows what he's doing and knows how to win titles.

"I'm sure with the quality of players he will have a game plan to push for the title."
