Manchester United legend and Derby County boss Wayne Rooney expects the Red Devils to have a very good season.
Rooney's Derby lost 2-1 to United in a preseason friendly on Sunday.
Tahith Chong and Facundo Pellistri netted for United at Pride Park, before veteran Colin Kazim-Richards scored for the Rams.
Asked about United's ability to compete for trophies post-game, Rooney told reporters: "They are in a period now where fans will be wanting success, silverware.
"Ole and his coaching staff will be under pressure to deliver that.
"You can see they are getting gradually better. I think they'll be in a place where they really will challenge next season."
