Rondon wants to continue goal streak - at Newcastle or elsewhere

Salomon Rondon is hopeful he can continue scoring goals next season - at Newcastle United or elsewhere.

The Venezuelan, on loan from West Bromwich Albion, has scored 11 goals and provided seven assists for Toon this season.

Despite doubts about whether Newcastle will make his deal permanent, Rondon is happy with his contribution at St. James' Park.

He told Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo "I am very satisfied because the coach Rafa Benitez put a lot of confidence in me and I have tried to give the maximum to the team.

"Having participated in so many goals has been important for the goals of the team and the personal ones, which were to be able to surpass what I had done before [in the Premier League] this season.

"There is still one more day [at Fulham on Sunday] to try to have a good finish.

"Then think about the Copa America [with Venezuela this summer] and wherever [I am] next season, continue to contribute work and goals."
