Salomon Rondon hopes he will settle in quick at Newcastle United where he arrived in the summer transfer window.
The Venezuelan attacker debuted for the Magpies in a 2-1 loss at home against Tottenham last Saturday.
"I was very happy, and proud to make my debut. It was a pleasure, and I have to keep going to help the team," said Rondon.
"Settling is a difficult process – you have to find a house, and get kids settled in the schools, but I hope it can be quick. It is a good move for me and I am very happy."
Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez was determined to sign the 28-year-old striker. And made him a priority target early on in the window.
