Rondon affords Newcastle extra-time as Wolves, West Ham circle

Newcastle United will be given time to make a decision on Salomon Rondon.

The West Bromwich Albion striker was electrifying on loan at St. James' Park last season.

According to the Chronicle, the Venezuelan loved his time on Tyneside and wants to give Toon every opportunity to sign him permanently.

The club's owner Mike Ashley is reportedly undergoing takeover talks with Sheikh Bin Zayed. The uncertainty around manager Rafa Benitez has also held up negotiations.

Wolves, West Ham United and Fenerbahce are all chasing Rondon's signature.
